The Weekend Of May 22-24

Happy Memorial Day weekend y’all!

• The Downtown Denver Arts Festival runs all weekend at the Pavillions.  Festival website here.

• Colorado Free University is having a not so free ($46) class on “spirit photography” Saturday afternoon.  Yes, apparently there’s a way to tell the difference between “real” and “fake” photos of ghosts and you can learn all about it in this class.  More info here.

• Saturday night DJ Manny Lehman is spinning at Tracks.  Flyer here.

• Sunday night Ginger Sexton is hosting a very special drag show with benefits going to the Colorado AIDS Project.  Featured will be Ongina who came out as HIV+ on RuPaul’s Drag Race last season.  Flyer here.  $10, @Tracks, doors at 7PM show starts at 8PM.

Two Very Special Drag Shows Coming Up

On Sunday May 24th Ginger Sexton is hosting a fundraiser for the Colorado AIDS Project featuring Ongina who came out as HIV+ on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Ginger BTW is participating in the online voting to be cast in season two of Drag Race.  Vote for her on RuPaul’s casting site here.

And on Friday May 29th another former Drag Racer, Tammie Brown, will be joining Nina Flowers for Tracks’ “Drama Drag” Friday.
