religion and gay families



april is shaping up to be even more packed than march. the second day of the month already has an event. and it looks like it’s gonna be a good one. here’s what they say about it:


this is the second conversation in Called To Be One: Seeing the Face of God in Each Other, a year-long series to build mutual understanding and appreciation between people of different religions, cultures and life experiences. the focus of this particular conversation is how well religious denominations are measuring up to their responsibilities toward the gay individuals and families in their congregations


they’re gonna be showing The Constant Process, a 20-minute documentary about the life and theology of lesbian priest Susan Russell, then lots of good conversation. good, wholesome, thursday night fun. sigh… i promise you can go out after…. sheesh
